The voice activated recorder activates when someone starts talking. The recording is automatically paused or stopped when talking is stopped. This way, unnecessary pauses and spaces won’t be available in the recorded audio. The only problem with such voice activated recording devices is the time lag between the start of the speech and time at which recording starts.
